When people call cars sexy, I don't think they're thinking the same thing I'm thinking. I love cars that have "faces", so to speak. So, when people drive by in a Toyota Camry or a Honda Accord and I say "Hey, that's a sexy car!" and people look at me all bewildered, it's because they're not getting the whole picture! You've gotta add the rest of the body--synthetic breasts and all. Might I need psychiatric help? Likely so.

This is my concept of an anthropomorphic, humanoid car. Her body is composed of materials on both the outside and inside of the car; her belly is leather seat material, the rest of her skin is tire rubber, and she is covered in non-removable metal plates (all except three, that is). There are a lot of features not seen here, like a tailpipe and turning signals, but I'll probably cover those in future submissions. What you see here is the basic design for all my anthro cars, though some have a few distinguishing features such as trunks, spare tires, and such that help differentiate them from other models.

In the canon of my universe, most Anthro Cars or Vehiculoids purchase a magical upgrade to their bodies called "Metaflex". It allows synthetic materials to adopt the flexibilities and sensations of actual flesh. There are three settings: Off, which will return the vehiculoid to a state of rigid metal and rudimentary sensations; Inward, the default which will allow the vehiculoid the feelings and flexibility of flesh, but will still feel like synthetic materials to others; and Outward, which gives the synthetic materials an almost skin-like feeling to those who touch them, making it possible for intimacy.

Since I could go on forever describing how Anthro Cars work in the context of Willy's universe, I'll save some informative tidbits for later pictures. For the sake of now, I'll resolve to call this car woman "Carma" until I think of something more clever.

Finally! I've been looking for someone else who does this!
I agree with the whole car 'face' thing. Volvos are sexy...

Seems like a lot of other people have been getting the same impression. It's funny, though, because I haven't really played Halo before. =S

You have to play through it at least ONCE!!!

Halo 1, 2, and 3

Other series are optional

Or look up the story on wikipedia if you have to time or interest to play it lol

He'd probably be disappointed that she doesn't transform, though... =(

Anyway, thanks!

Cool explanation on your Metaflex thing. However if I might so ask why try to make everything have to "feel" human? Or like Flesh so to speak? What about feeling what is there that make each thing unique? You wanna think thoughts with a robot or metallic being hey that's cool. Why not think of to cool sleek feel of metal? Why not think of how smooth metal can be? Why always try to change things up to "fit" human commonalities? Why not find a like for each think that is unique in it's own way? Just wondering... You can think and feel about it how you want of course. But just wondering. Do you think it makes it any less "taboo" or "Not right" to others if you say it's "Like Flesh" or "Like a human so I'm not that weird" kinda thing? Or is it a personal thing and you can only think of it that way cause that is all you know? Again I'm just curious you could say.

It doesn't necessarily have to do with me having to make everything feel human. My fictional universe is inhabited by all sorts of odd sentient creatures; interspecies relationships are not uncommon. The company that created Metaflex is all about helping interspecies couples become more compatible, whether it is help them have children, remove language barriers, or accomplish other things that would otherwise be physically impossible. Because of the increasing population of sentient machines over the years, and consequently the growing amount of relationships between artificial and biological beings, the company decided to capitalize on this premise by offering a product that would cater to these relationships. Also, the product can be used for more than simply physical relationships; it can help certain metallic beings emote in every day conversations. Some vehiculoids use it specifically for that purpose, because some don't have any interest in physical relationships, nor do they have any built in sexual parts. Metaflex is for those metallic beings who want the certain benefits of having a more flexible exterior; whether that is to cater to their partner's needs, or simply help them communicate with others.

Alright. All you had to say was the first part. No need to keep going on. I don't need a full analysis detail. Just a simple response like how you started was fine. :p
